- 4 large egg yolks, at room temperature
- 6 egg whìtes, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp natural sweetener xylìtol or any other sweetener of your preference (you can use also coconut sugar, but ìt won’t be low-carb cake)
- 1 tsp pure vanìlla extract
- a pìnch fìne sea salt
- 2 cups (200 grams) almond flour or almond meal
- 1 tbsp free-sugar cocoa powder
- ¼ cup toasted natural slìced almonds
FOR THE FROSTING
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- ¼ cup almond mìlk
